Galaxy Tab S – the thinnest and lightest so far


tab-s-10.5-retail-1Galaxy Tab S, the newest tablet from Samsung family, is believed to be the thinnest and lightest tablet. Tablet will be available in two versions – 10.5 inches and 8.4 inches, and both are 6.6 millimeters thick. The larger model weighs 465 grams, while the other version with a smaller screen is 294 grams heavy.
As for other specifications are concerned, both Galaxy Tab S models have a Super AMOLED screen, Exynos 5 Octa (1.9 + GHz Quad Core 1.3 GHz Quadcore) or Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 2.3 GHz Quadcore processor, 8MP front camera and rear 2.1 MP. RAM is 3GB and 16/32GB of internal memory.
As for the battery, 8,4-inch model has a battery capacity of 4,900 mAh, a 10.5-inch 7,900 mAh. It hasAndroid 4.4 version installed on both models, and the device comes with various connectivity options: Wi-Fi or Wi-Fi and LTE. As stated from Samsung, Galaxy Tab S is coming to select markets in July this year.
